Shellharbour

The club was formed in 1936.
Apart from a short enforced break during World War 2, it
has served the local community continuously.
The club has established itself as one of the principal
surf clubs in regional New South Wales. In recent years
the Club has hosted Country, State & National (IRB)
Championships.
Shellharbour Club patrols the main "Shellharbour North"
beach and conducts surveillance and roving patrols to
nearby "South Beach" and "Blacks Beach". The club
is set among a landscaped
foreshores.
An energetic Nipper movement conducts its activities
each weekend throughout summer with numbers regularly
registering in excess of 200.
We enjoy a harmonious relationship with the local
authorities and enjoy outstanding support and
cooperation from the community & local business
establishments.
